The deficiency of vitamin D can be done to correct the imbalance of angiotensin in the cells. This research is going on in four institutions in America. A proposal has been sent to the Indian Council for Medical Research for this to be the first in the country.

Covid-19 patients will be divided into two groups. One group will be given vitamin D supplementation with standard therapy for three weeks. The second group will be given only standard therapy. After three weeks, changes in immunity due to vitamin D from the blood will be investigated. The proposal has been sent to ICMR.

Foods to boost Vitamin D

Vitamin D is not only in the bones but also in the prevention of many diseases including increasing immunity, reducing cholesterol level, protecting the baby in the womb from congenital diseases. Useful. A diet that is rich in vitamin D should be taken. Catering needs some changes.

Milk: One glass of cow’s milk should be taken daily in the daily diet. It meets 20 percent of the daily needs of vitamin D. Drink full-fat milk, as it contains the maximum amount of vitamin D.

Egg: Two eggs daily, it is enough to meet 25 percent of vitamin D requirements, egg white is considered better.

Yogurt: Yogurt is very helpful in removing vitamin D deficiency. Do not store yogurt as they are cultured which reduces the amount of vitamin D.

Orange Juice: Orange juice contains good amount of Vitamin D and Vitamin C. It is one of the best fruit juices. Include a glass of fresh orange juice at breakfast.

Whole Grains: Like whole grains, oatmeal is also a good source of vitamin D. Also, oats are rich in essential minerals and vitamins.

Mushrooms: Mushrooms are rich in vitamin D, along with vitamin-B, B-1B-2, B-5.

Fatty fish: Include fatty fish or salmon fish in the diet. It is rich in vitamin D.

Soya food: Soya foods like tafu and soybean meal are full of vitamin D. Those who are allergic to milk and yogurt, eat soy food.
