The institute interviewed 1102 parents online from 23 states and learned from them how the lockdown was impacting the child. With the help of the survey, an attempt was also made to understand whether he is spending more time with his children or not.

54 percent of parents said they discussed Kovid-19 and lockdown with children. At the same time, 47 percent say they tried to divert attention from the lockdown by engaging children in other activities.

According to the survey report, more than 50 percent of parents said, children are getting excited and restless. 37 percent said lockdown affected children’s well-being. 41 percent of parents said, the way children eat also changed to some extent and 35 percent said, it has changed to a great extent.

- Play with them, hear and tell stories from them.
