Strong immunity helps to cut down the risk of infection in kids and keep them healthy. Diet plays a crucial role in strengthening the kid’s internal system, reduces the risk of precocious puberty, obesity and greying of hair. 6 Habits that are a must to add to your kid’s daily routine at this time and they are:

1.Start  your kids  day with  exercise:

During this pandemic kids are having no routine to follow. They are leaving their bed late and sleeping late. These all are making them very lazy. But you should help them to follow their routines. They should start their day with exercise ,yoga or meditations. Staying physically active is another important lifestyle habit that helps them stay fit and active. Exercising or even mediating boosts metabolism and cuts down the risk of developing chronic diseases.

2.Eating Habits:

Parent should check the kids platter that what they are having .It should be rich in all the nutritious values such as minerals ,iron ,calcium, potassium .Easy to digest and tasty rice is an important food to add to the kid’s diet. Rice is rich in several nutrients, but the most important of all is a special kind of amino acid present in it. Dal, rice and ghee make the best dinner option for kids. Give kids some homemade pickles or chutney or amla daily. These side dishes will help their gut bacteria thrive, will boost their immunity and help them stay happy. A handful of cashews between the meal will provide them with micronutrients required by them to keep them active and energetic. It will help to reduce aches and pain.

3.Seasonal Fruits:

Kids must get seasonal  at least one seasonal  fruit . If they do not like to eat the whole fruit, giving them even a bite of these fruits will promote the growth of good gut bacteria. These fruits plays a vital role in increasing their immunity. As we know corona virus best medicine is to take Vitamin C, which is present in orange, lemon, amla. If kids don’t like to have it then you can change its form. You can make juice or any candies, but remember don’t give them out foods. As it can adversely affect them.

4. Strictly avoid junk food:

Strictly avoid all kinds of processed or junk foods .As it is easy to fill their appetite so many parents are giving this. But in this time of epidemic ,strictly avoid it  .It may make your loved one face serious problems.  These foods are packed with trans fat and contain minimum nutrients. They often contribute to weight gain and do not nourish the body. Even packaged foods which are labelled as healthy are not that healthy.

5.Sleeping schedule

Parents underestimate the importance of maintaining a sleeping schedule. But sleeping plays a crucial role in maintaining your kids  immunity and health. It cuts down the risk of obesity and helps to curb the craving for unhealthy foods.

6.Other tips to follow:
